Great California Shake Out

The third annual Great California Shake Out will be 10:20 a.m. today.

The statewide event encourages residents to "drop, cover and hold on" at the appointed time, wherever they are. The drill gives residents a chance to practice what to do in case of an earthquake. It also provides an opportunity to plan emergency evacuation drills, prepare for a disaster and more.
