Woodside Blotter: Super Bowl Party Guest Makes Off With $35,000 in Loot

Incidents from the San Mateo County Sheriff's incident log in Woodside from Feb. 5 to Feb. 9. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

* Tuesday, Feb. 5, 7:55 a.m. - Grand Theft: Occurred in the 500 block of Manzanita Way. Unknown suspect or suspects at a Super Bowl party at the victim's house stole two watches valued at approximately $35,600. No suspect info at this time.

Saturday, Feb. 9, 6:19 p.m. - Commercial Burglary: Occurred in the 3000 block of Woodside Road. The suspect or suspects broke into a closed restaurant by smashing a front window, and attempted to raid the cash register for cash with negative results. The Redwood City Police Department arrested a subject in the area of Edgewood Road and Highway 280 for a similar crime that morning. It is unknown at this time if the same suspect is responsible.
