U.S. Bank Robbed in Redwood City

Redwood City Police officers are looking for two men who robbed a U.S. Bank in Redwood City, California on Tuesday.

Two men wearing black hoodies walked into the U.S. Bank in the 1400 Block of Woodside Road at about 2:20 p.m. on June 4, 2013.  They told the bank teller at the window that the bank was being robbed and that it would be in their best interest not to resist, according to Redwood City Police records.

One of the men proceeded to go behind the counter and remove cash from the drawer, while the other watched the door. No one reported seeing any weapons in their possession to the police. The duo was last seen running away from the bank on Beresford Avenue.

They were described as two black males of medium build about six feet tall.  Both were wearing black hoodies.

Detective Josh Chilton is encouraging anyone with information about the incident to call him at (650) 780-7141.
