Sheriff's Woodside Blotter: Grand Theft from Local Home

Patch's new report on crime in the town of Woodside.

Editor's Note: The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, which covers the town of Woodside, has agreed to start sending us incident reports from Woodside.

 

Thursday, Jan. 3

2:34 p.m. - Grand Theft: Occurred in the 2000 block of Woodside Road in Woodside. An unknown suspect entered the home of a family away on vacation and stole a $12,500 IWC Portuguese watch from the bedroom. So far, there are no investigative leads on the suspect.

 

This information was supplied by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Patch will continue to publish crime incidents from Woodside as the Sheriff's Office makes them available to us.

Thanks for expanding your coverage to include the Sheriff's report. Any plans to also include Unicorporated RWC?

Yes, we will report any information the Sheriff is able to give us on unincorporated RWC such as North Fair Oaks, etc. as well. Today they sent us incidents for Jan. 3-4, and there was no notations on any Sheriff's calls on those dates. But we'll check every day going forward. Thanks for the comment!
