Redwood City Police Seek Help Identifying Burglary Suspect

Do you recognize this man? Police need to talk to him.

The Redwood City Police Department is hoping someone may recognize the attached image of a man suspected of burglarizing a local home.

According to the agency, the man's picture was captured in a home security system on Feb. 24, when he allegedly burglarized the residence.

"Video and digital surveillance systems like this one are a great tool to deter criminal activity and can be of tremendous use in solving crimes," Lieutenant Sean Hart said in a police alert.  "The Redwood City Police Department encourages residents to consider the use of this increasingly affordable and available technology."

Hart says the incident happened in the 3700 block of Farm Hill Road in Redwood City, at an unoccupied home.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the person depicted in the image is encouraged to contact Detective Stahler at 650-780-7620.

Those wanting to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477. Persons providing information may be eligible for a cash reward from Crime Stoppers.
