UPDATE: Missing Autistic Boy Found Safe

Arthur Infante, who goes by the nickname "Dariel," went missing Thursday morning in Redwood City.

UPDATE 7:40 P.M.: A 13-year-old autistic boy who went missing Thursday morning in Redwood City has been found safe and is now at home, police said.

Redwood City police are asking for the public's help in locating a 13-year-old autistic boy who went missing Thursday morning.

The boy, Arthur Infante, who goes by the nickname "Dariel," is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, police said.

He was last seen in the area of Roosevelt Avenue and Cleveland Street at about 10 a.m. Thursday, according to police.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a black San Francisco 49ers hat with a red bill. Police said they are concerned because Arthur has the mental capacity of a 5- to 7-year-old.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call Redwood City police immediately at (650) 780-7100 or call 911.
