Police Blotter: Loose Pit Bull Runs Wild; Vandals Smash in Van Windows

Friday, Sept. 21

10:55 a.m. - Hit and Run - A hit and run driver caused unspecified property damage in a collision that occurred near the intersection of Brewster Avenue and Veterans Boulevard.

1:23 p.m. - Hit and Run - A hit and run driver caused unspecified damage to a parked car in a collision that occurred on Veterans Boulevard.

8:50 p.m. - Vandalism - Vandals smashed in the window of a van parked near the intersection of Redwood Avenue and Addison Street.

10:04 p.m. - Hit and Run - A hit and run motorist driving a white two-door vehicle caused unspecified property damage in a collision that occurred on Hilltop Drive.

11:39 p.m. - Assault with a Deadly Weapon - Police made an arrest on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on Jackson Avenue.

 

Saturday, Sept. 22

11:55 a.m. - Car Burglary - A stereo was stolen from a car parked on Walnut Street. Burglars smashed through the windows of an SUV in an incident that occurred overnight.

1:40 p.m. - Grand Theft - Jewelry was stolen from a hotel room on Woodside road.

3:51 p.m. - Burglary - Unspecified items were stolen from a storage locker on Hudson Street.

9:36 p.m. - Residential Burglary - Burglars got into a Redwood Avenue residence through a kitchen window, stealing unspecified items.

 

Sunday, Sept. 23

12:51 p.m. - Hit and Run - A hit and run driver caused unspecified property damage on Williams Avenue.

2:58 p.m. - Stray Animal - A loose black and white pit bull was running loose with no tags near the intersection of Spring Street and Warrington Avenue.
