Police Blotter: Interrupted Burglar Snags Flat Screen; 'Stolen' Camry was Towed

The following information was supplied by the Redwood City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Sept. 15

9:15 a.m. - Residential Burglary - A big screen TV was stolen in a residential burglary on Valota Road. The suspects entered through an unlocked door.

11:00 a.m. - Residential Burglary - Jewelry was stolen in a residential burglary on Eden Bower Lane. There were no signs of forced entry.

3:46 p.m. - Residential Burglary - A black and white 20-inch mountain bike was stolen in a residential burglary on Shorebird Circle that occurred after 10 a.m.

5:03 p.m. - Hit and Run - A suspected hit and run driver in a gray or dark colored truck caused unspecified damage to another vehicle in a Woodside Road collision.

5:51 p.m. - Residential Burglary - A person checking up on the home of a family that's out of town reported their Broadway home was burglarized.

7:21 p.m. - Residential Burglary - An iPod was stolen in a residential burglary on Woodside Road sometime after 4 p.m.

10:18 p.m. - Hit and Run - A hit and run driver caused unspecified property damage in an incident on Warrington Avenue.

11:40 p.m. - Residential Burglary - Burglars forced their way through the back door of a Rose Avenue residence and ransacked  the home.  

 

Sunday, Sept. 16

5:17 p.m. - Stolen Vehicle - A Toyota Camry reported stolen on Redwood Avenue was towed by the sheriff's department for blocking a 6th Avenue Driveway.

10:15 p.m.  - Battery - A female victim told police she was beat up by a female suspect on El Camino Real.

 

Monday, Sept. 17

9:49 a.m. - Hit and Run - A hit and run driver caused unspecified injuries to a juvenile in a Woodside Road incident.

12:27 p.m. - Hit and Run - A hit and run driver caused unspecified property damage to a truck in a parking garage.

12:55 p.m. - Residential Burglary - An interrupted burglar got away from a Marsh Road home with a flat screen TV. The suspect was described as an 18-to 22-year-old male wearing a hat and a red shirt.  He was seen entering a green Toyota four-door sedan with tinted windows.  

1:51 p.m. - Residential Burglary - A computer was stolen from a home on Canyon Road in a burglary that occurred after 11:40 a.m.

9:39 p.m. - Hit and Run - A hit and run driver caused unspecified property damage in an incident that occurred at the intersection of Hoover Street and Marsh Road.
