Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Highway 101 in Redwood City

The pedestrian was struck on Highway 101 early Sunday morning.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on southbound U.S. Highway 101 in Redwood City early Sunday morning, California Highway Patrol officials said.

CHP officers were dispatched to the scene on Highway 101 north of Third Avenue at 4:25 a.m. today. The San Mateo County coroner's office also responded to the scene.

Cynthia Guzman, you've no idea if he was someone whose car stalled, etc. However, even if he did not make a wise decision and walked on the freeway, please have compassion.

EEK that is just mean :( Sorry to hear of such a horrible thing. Prayers to the loved ones of this person who has died. Very sad start to my day.
