Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Highway 101 in Redwood City

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on southbound U.S. Highway 101 in Redwood City early Sunday morning, California Highway Patrol officials said.

CHP officers were dispatched to the scene on Highway 101 north of Third Avenue at 4:25 a.m. today. The San Mateo County coroner's office also responded to the scene.
