Updated: One Dead, One Injured in Motorcycle Collision

The incident happened near Roosevelt Elementary School.

A man who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Redwood City early Wednesday has been identified by the San Mateo County coroner's office as 23-year-old Miracle Moses Leilua Jr.

Leilua was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which happened at Roosevelt Avenue and Upton Street around 1:35 a.m.

Redwood City police discovered the aftermath of a motorcycle collision early Wednesday morning near Roosevelt Elementary School that left one killed and one seriously injured. The cause of the incident is still unknown.

At 1:36 a.m., officers arrived at the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Upton Street and found two men suffering from serious injuries. One of the men was pronounced deceased at the scene a short while after the officers arrived.

Initial results determined that both men were riding the motorcycle traveling west on Roosevelt Avenue. The motorcycle left the roadway just west of Upton Street and eventually stopped in the parking lot entrance of a local business.

The second man was taken to a hospital. Hart did not know his
condition.

There is no indication that any other vehicle was involved in the collision. It has not been determined at this time if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision.

I agree, the public has the right to know what they are eating. It is absurd to be purchasing foodRead More that contains GMOs and not be able to know it is in the food.... why the secret if it is so safe??? I will not shop at any food stores that refuse to provide the public with information on what I am eating or serving to the people I care about. Trader Joes and Whole Foods have my loyalty for having the courage to stand up against the big guys and set an example by doing what is right for the consumer and not folding to pressure from Monsanto, Dupont and the other corporate giants that could care less about our safety and only care about how much money they can rake in.
