Man Found Shot at Parking Lot Near Fair Oaks Community Center

The victim is expected to survive his injuries.

A 25-year-old man was found shot slightly south of Redwood City early Saturday morning, but is expected to survive his injuries, according to the .

Sheriff's deputies responded to the corner of Douglas Avenue and Middlefield Road, near the , on a report of shots fired at around 2 a.m.

Deputies found the victim in a parking lot at 2601 Middlefield Road suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical personnel treated the victim at the scene and then transported him to a local hospital.
