Man Knifes Three on Main Street

Police are still searching for the suspect.

Correction: The incident occurred on Main Street, but not in front of Deseo Tequila Lounge as the police report originally stated.

A 25-year-old man jumped out of a car and knifed three Redwood City residents early Friday morning on Main Street.

At 1:25 a.m., the three victims, two age 30 and one age 27, were leaving Deseo Tequila Lounge when a car pulled up and a man jumped out with a knife. The victims suffered lacerations to the head and neck area.

The suspect then fled the scene in a white four door Chevrolet Impala, police believe.

The suspect is described as 5'10" or 5'11" and was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

The owner of the Lounge said police told her the three victims were not cooperating with the police.

This is an on-going investigation and the police urge anyone with information regarding the assault to contact the Redwood City Police Department at 650-780-7100. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call the anonymous tip line at 650-780-7110.
