House Fire in North Fair Oaks Displaces One Family

The fire broke out in the early morning hours Wednesday morning, closing part of Middlefield Road.

A house fire in North Fair Oaks Wednesday morning has displaced one family.

Early Wednesday morning, San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies and Menlo Park Fire Protection District (MPFPD) firefighters responded to a house fire in the area of Middlefield Road and Third, Det. Rebecca Rosenblatt told Patch.

The fire temporarily closed down a portion of Middlefield Road.

As of 8:15 a.m., the road was reopened and traffic was moving in both directions, Rosenblatt said.

Rosenblatt said, no injuries were reported, though she believed the family who lived in the home was displaced.

As of 8:15 a.m., the fire was out and MPFPD crews were on the scene cleaning up, Rosenblatt said.

There is no information yet as to what caused the fire.
