Have You Seen This Man? Sheriff's Dept. Says He Went Missing From Woodside Construction Site

By Bay City News Service:

The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office is searching for a construction worker who disappeared from a job site in Woodside Monday morning, a sheriff's spokeswoman said Tuesday.

Paul Lloyd Phillips, a 40-year-old white man from Salinas, was last seen at a construction site in Woodside Monday around 11 a.m., according to Deputy Rebecca Rosenblatt.

Phillips left saying he needed to change his shoes and never came back, Rosenblatt said.

While his disappearance was initially thought to be voluntary, there is some concern that he could be suicidal or have suffered some harm in the wooded areas around Woodside, Rosenblatt said.

Phillips is described as a white man with blond hair and blue eyes, around 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.

A photo released by the Sheriff's Office shows Phillips as being bald or having a shaved head.

Anyone who sees Phillips should call 911.
