Carlos Avenue Residential Burglars Arrested

An alert neighbor reported the man and teen to the police just in time.

A 20-year-old man and 17-year-old teen male are in custody after breaking into a local home - with a vigilant neighbor watching the whole time.

Nomiar Jonasian, 20, of Redwood City, and his 17-year-old male accomplice, were spotted entering the yard of a home on the 700 block of Carlos Avenue just before 1 p.m. Wednesday, the police reported.

The neighbor reported seeing one of the two suspects enter the yard and then knock on the home's front door. When no one answered, the suspect reportedly tried a back door to the home, found it unlocked, and entered the residence. The neighbor promptly called the Redwood City Police Department.
