Blotter: Suspects Caught on Video Dumping Mattresses in Driveway

RANDOM INCIDENTS OF NOTE:

* Thursday, March 7, 9:20 a.m. - Dumping Complaint: Occurred on Veterans Boulevard. Reporting party said he or she saw five mattresses and a bunch of boxes being dumped in the driveway, and caught it on video. Report taken.

Thursday, March 7, 7:32 a.m. - Graffiti: "Gang graffiti" found in a men's restroom on Spring Street. Report taken.

Thursday, March 7, 3:16 p.m. - Identity Theft/Stolen Credit Cards: Victim lives on Brewster Avenue. Police received a call reporting possible identity theft with potential suspect info. Said his or her credit cards were stolen and used at several stores at a nearby mall and that some of the stores caught the person on video surveillance. Report taken.

Thursday, March 7, 5:01 p.m. - Disturbance: Occurred on Grand Street. Reporting party said there are people in her garage "getting drunk and doing meth." Reporting party sounds drunk as well.

Thursday, March 7, 9:25 p.m. - DUI: Occurred at Hudson Street and Palm Avenue. Arrest made.

Thursday, March 7, 11:53 p.m. - Attempted Robbery/Mugging: Occurred on Buckingham Avenue in unincorporated area. Person called to report that two Hispanic males had stopped him, stated that they wanted to rob him, and demanded money. The victim said he told them he didn't have any money on him, and then fled on foot. Two suspects left in an unknown direction of travel. Call was referred to the Sheriff's Office.

Friday, March 8, 12:47 p.m. - Cyclist/Vehicle Accident: Occurred at Redwood Avenue and Clinton Street. Subject on bike struck by a vehicle. Both parties are still at the scene, the cyclist is reportedly on the ground. Officers dispatched to scene.

Friday, March 8, 6:01 p.m. - Public Drunkenness/Disturbance: Occurred on Theater Way. Woman drunk inside theater, causing a disturbance, refusing to leave. White female around 50 years old. Arrest made.

Saturday, March 9, 7:02 a.m. - Vandalism: Occurred on Camberly Way. Tires of vehicle were slashed sometime overnight. No suspect info. Report taken.

Saturday, March 9, 9:18 p.m. - Possible Gunshots Heard: Occurred on St. Francis Street. Two calls came in reporting hearing two "loud bangs, possible gunshots." Officers said area was quiet upon their arrival and were unable to locate anything.

Thursday, March 7, 7:35 a.m. - Occurred on Valota Road. Vehicle last seen last night. Report taken.

Thursday, March 7, 10:46 a.m. - Occurred at Cleveland Street and Jefferson Avenue. Report taken.

Friday, March 8, 7:26 a.m. - Occurred on Carlos Avenue. Vehicle last seen at 7 p.m. yesterday. Report taken.

Friday, March 8. 7:31 a.m. - Occurred on Shorebird Circle. Burgundy 1997 Acura Integra stolen overnight, no suspect info. Report taken.

 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES/BREAK-INS:

Thursday, March 7, 2:44 p.m. - Occurred on Shaw Court. Resident of home came home and found back door wide open, doesn't know if someone might still be in the home. Says he entered the home briefly and didn't see anything out of place, but then walked out again. Insists he never leaves any doors open or unlocked.

Friday, March 8, 12:51 p.m. - Occurred on Fulton Street sometime since 9:30 a.m. Unknown point of entry, unknown yet if anything stolen, no suspect info. Report taken.

Friday, March 8, 5:01 p.m. - Occurred on Washington Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Resident has video surveillance of the suspects. Report taken.

Friday, March 8, 5:55 p.m. - Occurred on Upton Street. Resident came home to find bedroom ransacked, jewelry gone. Report taken.
