Blotter: Stolen Car Found in Flames

Friday

10:29 a.m. - Noisy Animal - A resident on Hyde Street reported that a neighbor's dog had been crying, loudly, for the last three days.

1:44 p.m. - Disturbance - Someone called police after seeing a group of people swearing and being obnoxious while they sat on a table on Middlefield Road.

3:52 p.m. - Disturbance - A homeless man was reportedly leaning against a wall on Chestnut Street, drinking a beer.

6:57 p.m. - Occupied Suspicious Car - Two people were reportedly sitting in a blue Honda on Hoover Street, smoking marijuana.

9:08 p.m. - Disturbance - A solicitor was continually knocking on someone's door on Neptune Drive, which was waking some sleeping children. He had long hair and was carrying a clipboard.

 

Saturday

8:13 a.m. - Commercial Burglary - An unknown suspect entered a property through a temporary construction door on Shoreline Driver and stole four laptops and some cash.

9:20 a.m. - Residential Burglary - Fremont police found a car that was reported stolen out of Redwood City Friday night. The car was on fire when officers found it.

1:14 p.m. - Intoxicate Person - A drunken person was passed in a restaurant booth on El Camino Real.

8:29 p.m. - Disturbance - Two or three juveniles wearing Halloween masks were trying to trick-or-treat on Vera Avenue and reportedly egged someone's home.

 

Sunday

1:11 a.m. - Domestic Violence  - Police arrested a man after his wife called police to report  that he punched her face. She claimed he had been drinking.

2:58 a.m. - Shots Fired - A resident heard six gun shots near 18th Avenue and Hoover Street.

1:59 p.m. - Disturbance - Some people reported being harassed by a transient on Broadway while they waited for AAA to aid them with a broken down car.

8:39 p.m. - Vandalism - An unknown suspect slashed the tire of someone's car that was parked on Ebener Street.

 

Monday

7:46 a.m. - Dumping Complaint - Someone reportedly made an illegal dump of shrubbery on Charter Street.

9:26 a.m. - Disturbance - A female employee at a business on Middlefield Road reported that one of her co-worker's husband has been stalking her.

12:16 p.m. - Domestic Disturbance - A woman called police from Sanson Street to report that her girlfriend's ex-girlfriend was standing at their front door, refusing to leave.

4:13 p.m. - Intoxicate Person - Police arrested a person for being drunk in public on Central Avenue after someone saw the suspect sleeping in some bushes.

4:54 p.m. - Domestic Violence - A woman called police to report that her husband was threatening to hit her if she kept "sitting on the furniture." She told police she "hates him and is sick of him and he needs to leave."
