Blotter: Man Watches Porn at Downtown Library

Friday

7:18 a.m. - Commercial Burglary - An unknown suspect broke into a commercial building on Chemical Way and stole tools and copper wire.

10:41 a.m. - Vandalism - A woman on Canyon Road reported that someone, likely her ex-husband, smashed her window.

7:40 p.m. - Grand Theft - An unknown suspect stole a generator, worth more than $400, from a truck that was parked on Veterans Boulevard.

9:21 p.m. - Disturbance - A woman reported that her mother was very drunk and "stabbed her in the face" and then left with her homeless friend on Madison Avenue.

 

Saturday

1:58 a.m. - Disorderly Conduct - Police arrested some people who were causing problems in a bar on El Camino Real. Charges were drunk in public.

3:09 p.m. - Suspicious Person - Police arrested a man for viewing pornography on a public library computer on Middlefield Road.

7:29 p.m. - Disturbance - A woman was passed out in front of a business on Middlefield and started stumbling around in traffic when people woke her up.

10:49 p.m. - Disturbance - Someone having a party on Arguello Street reported that a neighbor "came over" with a megaphone and threatened them about violating the noise level ordinance.

 

Sunday

11:12 a.m. - Suspicious Circumstance - Two men were reportedly smoking marijuana in a parked car on Iris Street.

5:49 p.m. - Suspicious Person - A homeless man was reportedly sitting on a bench in front of a property on Woodside Road, hassling residents. They asked him to leave and he refused.

9:12 p.m. - Suspicious Persons - Ten "juveniles" were reportedly loitering near Vera Avenue and Clinton Street, possibly "up to no good."

 

Monday

7:42 a.m. - Verbal Disturbance - A girl on Adams Street locked her herself in her room in an attempt to avoid going to school.

11:58 a.m. - Grand Theft - Someone on East Bayshore Road wired money to a seller on eBay for a car on Oct. 26. The car was scheduled for a Nov. 1 delivery, but didn't arrive.

2:56 p.m. - Juvenile Arrest - Police arrested a 13-year-old boy who was reportedly crying, yelling, screaming and trying to hit a teacher in a school on Goodwin Avenue.

8:38 p.m. - Suspicious Person - A man came to woman's front porch on McGarvery Avenue, started yelling and then got into small four-door silver car, possibly a VW, and left. She told police she had no idea who the man was.
