Blotter: Father, Daughter Find Burglar Inside Their House

Friday, Nov. 30

12:21 a.m. - Stolen Vehicle: Occurred on Marsh Road. 1991 black Chevy truck, not registered yet, just purchased three weeks ago. Report taken.

1:16 a.m. - Gun Shots Heard: Occurred on Hampshire. Five shots registered by the Gun Shot Locator.

10:45 a.m. - Battery: Occurred at school on Goodwin Avenue. Student is now in the principal's office. Report taken.

1:10 p.m. - Stolen Vehicle: Occurred on El Camino Real. 4-door gray 1990 Honda Civic. Caller says her boyfriend's vehicle was just taken, and now he is out looking for it. Report taken.

1:46 p.m. - Shoplift: Occurred on Walnut Street. Hispanic male, 16-17 years old, just took some jeans and fled, running toward the bridge.

6:41 p.m. - Disturbance/Domestic Violence: Occurred at Rickshaw Restaurant on Broadway. Caller said a burgundy van was parked in the lot in front of the restaurant. Caller can see a woman inside the vehicle, swinging her hands, possibly hitting someone. Caller can hear screaming coming from inside the van, possibly coming from an adult male.

7:11 p.m. - Petty Theft: Occurred on Iris Street. Delivered package stolen from front porch. Resident said it was just there 10 minutes ago, must have been stolen. Report taken.

7:50 p.m. - Petty Theft: Theft of mail. Citizen flagged down officer vehicle. Report taken.

10:09 p.m. - Gun Shots Heard: Occurred on 5th Avenue. Two shots picked up by Gun Shot Locator.

10:10 p.m. - Gun Shots Heard: Occurred on Dodge Drive. Possibly same two gunshots just picked up on 5th Avenue.

10:10 p.m. - Shooting: Occured on Dodge Drive. 18-year-old victim, enroute to hospital in a blue Altima.

 

Saturday, Dec. 1

1:48 a.m. - Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon: Occurred on El Camino Real. Possible armed robbery. Male victim thinks he is bleeding, wants to go home. He is mumbling and hard to understand. Report taken.

7:54 a.m. - Grand Theft: Occurred on Woodside Road. Large amount of expensive gardening equipment stolen from truck parked on street overnight. Report taken.

12:24 p.m. - Grand Theft: Occurred on El Camino Real. Theft of display phone occurred sometime since the store opened this morning. Report taken.

2:39 p.m. - Stolen Vehicle: Occurred on Regent Street. 1991 Toyota Camry, light blue with black stripe on the side. Owner says vehicle was just purchased three weeks ago. No suspect info. Report taken.

5:52 p.m. - Gun Shots Heard: Occurred on Charter Street. Four shots heard.

5:52 p.m. - Gun Shots Heard: Occurred on Cassia Street. Possibly same shots heard on Charter Street.

6:06 p.m. - DUI: Occurred at Woodside and Valota roads. Green Chevy Silverado. Arrest made. 

8:33 p.m. - Gun Shots Heard: Occurred on Laurel Street. One loud shot heard.

 

Sunday, Dec. 2

7:06 a.m. - Brandished Weapon: Occurred on E. Bayshore Road. Caller says unknown subject tried to stab her and her female friend earlier. Report taken.

8:27 a.m. - Gun Shots Heard: Occured on 4th Avenue. One shot heard.

11:14 a.m. - Stolen Vehicle: Occurred on Heller Street. Work truck parked on the street stolen sometime since 11 p.m. last night. Report taken.

1:59 p.m. - Battery: Occurred on Iris Street. Female juvenile told caller she was beaten up. Report taken.

2:25 p.m. - Vehicle Burglary: Occurred on Central Avenue. Resident called to say her neighbor's vehicle was broken into and items stolen sometime overnight. Calling on neighbor's behalf as neighbor is out of town for the next month or so. Report taken.

2:49 p.m. - Disturbance: Occurred on Hoover Street. Asian female feeding the seagulls - attracting so many seagulls it is causing a traffic backup. Officers were unable to locate.

5:36 p.m. - Disturbance: Occurred on Middlefield Road. Parking attendant is in argument with person who is refusing to pay for his/her parking. 

5:50 p.m. - Person Down: Occurred on Woodside Road. Subject fell and hit head, is now bleeding, lying on the ground. Medical dispatched.

6:45 p.m. - Stolen Vehicle: Occurred on Broadway. Car stolen from parking lot overnight. Report taken.

7:34 p.m. - Disturbance/Gang Activity: Occurred on El Camino Real. 4-5 black males standing outside store giving gang signs to cashiers inside business. Employees recently asked them to leave and it caused a verbal fight. 

7:52 p.m. - Residential Burglary: Occurred on Broadway. Girl called to say her father heard someone in their house, went to other room to check and saw an unknown subject in the house. Burglar made entry through window in room. Suspect ran out when he saw the father. Jewelry and money was taken. Report taken.

8:57 p.m. - Disturbance: Occurred on El Camino Real and Jackson Avenue. Caller said he is being constantly harassed by same subjects because he is gay. Says they have threatened to beat him up on several occasions. Subjects are two Hispanic males, 35-40 years old.

9:15 p.m. - Person Down: Occurred on Jefferson Avenue. Resident reports a person is passed out on his lawn. Resident tried to shake him awake but he is unresponsive. Medics are enroute.

10:22 p.m. - Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkeness: Occurred on Redwood Avenue. Subject is lying in the road, crying.

11:20 p.m. - Commercial Burglary: Occurred on Main Street. Occurred sometime between 7 and 10:30 p.m. Point of entry is possibly somewhere on the second floor. Suspect broke the security camera, so no suspect description. Jewelry taken. Report taken.
