Blotter: Drivers Race Test Ferraris in Parking Lot

The following information was supplied by the Redwood City Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following blotter was supplied by the Redwood City Police Department.

Thursday, September 27

12:23 p.m. – Assault with Deadly Weapon – A person calling from a restaurant on Broadway because he heard yelling and someone say “everyone get on the ground.”

2:21 a.m. – Suspicious Person – A manager was unable to wake up a man sleeping in the café area on El Camino Real.

9:30 a.m. – Altercation or disturbance involving juveniles – A student was having a temper tantrum in a green van on Connecticut and Goodwin Avenue.

3:01 p.m. – Shoplift – A juvenile was in possession of drug paraphernalia and stole eye drops.

4:58 p.m. – Accident/Minor Injury – A silver Nissan was in an accident with a black vehicle on Broadway and Charter. A person complained of pain and was dazed and was sent to the medics.

10:10 p.m. – Disturbance – A person’s sister attempted to run the person over with a vehicle on Marlborough Avenue.

 

Saturday, September 28

3:22 a.m. – Vehicle Burglary – A person’s car window was broken on El Camino Real and then her purse was taken.

11:57 a.m. – Reckless Drivers – Employees were racing test Ferraris in a parking lot on Seaport Boulevard.

2:34 p.m. – Terrorist Threats – A person received death treats via text on Woodside Road.

4:14 p.m. – Stray Animal – A large pitbull with a harness was seen running around a school on Laurel Street.

6:08 p.m. – Disturbance – Six juveniles were loitering in front of a store gambling on Vera Avenue.

9:15 p.m. – Vandalism – A person’s tires were slashed on Harrison Avenue.

11:22 p.m. – Intoxicated Person – Drunk people were kicked out of an establishment on Broadway street and then returned.

 

Sunday, September 29

3:13 a.m. – Disturbance – A teenage female was trying to evade paying her fare to a cab driver on Woodside Road.

11:09 a.m. – Graffiti – An unknown person painted graffiti a few night earlier then added more graffiti on Lancaster Way.

2:29 p.m. – Accident/Property Damage – A truck had rocks falling off of it and they hit a person’s car but the driver didn’t stop.

5:27 p.m. – Disturbance – A transient man was building a fort in a parking lot and El Camino Real and was refusing to leave.

6:03 p.m. – Stolen Vehicle – An ex-girlfriend took the person’s car on Hopkins Avenue and was refusing to give it back.

7:09 p.m. – Suspicious Circumstances – A man and his wife were talking down Farm Hill Boulevard and she was hit by a paintball.

7:32 p.m. – Disturbance – A man said his daughter’s boyfriend was refusing to give his daughter back her cell phone on Arguello Street and Brewster Avenue.

11:45 p.m. – Noisy Animal – A dog was barking and locked in a bathroom all day on Chart Lane and the person had concerns of mistreatment of the dog.

I agree, the public has the right to know what they are eating. It is absurd to be purchasing foodRead More that contains GMOs and not be able to know it is in the food.... why the secret if it is so safe??? I will not shop at any food stores that refuse to provide the public with information on what I am eating or serving to the people I care about. Trader Joes and Whole Foods have my loyalty for having the courage to stand up against the big guys and set an example by doing what is right for the consumer and not folding to pressure from Monsanto, Dupont and the other corporate giants that could care less about our safety and only care about how much money they can rake in.
