4-5 Cars Collide On 101 South in Redwood City

Traffic was backed up past Holly Street.

A major collision took place around 12:15 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 between Whipple and Woodside roads in Redwood City.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports indicate at least 4-5 vehicles were involved. One vehicle ended up facing the wrong way.

Firetrucks and CHP officers were still at the scene in the early afternoon, and at least two of the vehicles were being towed away due to major damage.

Traffic was backed up past Holly Street.

He knows so much about this area having been at Pete's for 20 years and knowing so much about the area the tides and the nature and land around here.
