15-Year-Old Burglary Suspect Arrested

Witnesses helped the deputies locate the suspect.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 15-year-old suspected burglar after located a teenager who matched witnesses’ physical description.

San Mateo County Dispatch received a report of a residential burglary in the 200 block of Woodside Drive in Woodside in the morning hours on Thursday, Dec. 20. Deputies arrived at the scene to find a home freshly ransacked.

They circled the area and located a juvenile subject from Redwood City who matched witnesses’ physical description.

During a search of the subject, deputies found a burglary tool on his possession.

They released the subject to a family member, and the 15-year-old will now face charges of residential burglary and possession of burglary tools.
