My relative sat there for an hour trying to get through to me and i spent an hour trying to connect and finally when i do get connected i asked if any one was working and my relative tells me " yea they got people here working but their busy talking to eachother and dont want to pick up any phones right now!" Here I am out of work and would gladly answer their phones for a paycheck. They should do the job they get paid for with our tax money. Yeah, unfortunately it's not just the Women's Facility though... It seems to be most of the police/judicial force in San Mateo County either don't want to do their jobs, or want to abuse their assumed power. What's even worse, is they all watch out for each others' backs and cover for each other even if they are doing wrong. "Don't lie, cheat, steal, or sell drugs- the police don't like competition!" They also don't want us forming gangs, yet what they do as a squad is exactly the same thing! They can be the only gang around here! Don't dare be part of a family that has criminals in it either, because they look and treat you as if you are one in the same! Discrimination still exists in full force here. If you are rich and get pulled over for speeding or DUI you get a warning and are told to take it on home. If you come from a less savory neighborhood, your car gets impounded, sent to the furthest tow yard in their jurisdiction, and a ticket written for when, and if, you get your car out on top of the arrest and appointment with the judge to determine your fees. That's right, charge those who can't afford it and let the rich go. That's how to get your salaries paid! When was the last time some rich f$#* donated to the police? C'mon. The police need to be reminded every day that they are playing with peoples lives when they do what they do. Playing God. Soon enough, we will start hearing about more and more crooked cops out there... not just ones that shoot first and ask questions later. They also love to get their family members out of a bind when they are in trouble, too. I have an old friend that should have like 5 DUIs under her belt, but because she is a cops daughter, guess what? No DUIs on her record! She still drinks and drives, too! They must be waiting for her to kill several of us regular citizens before they reprimand her for anything. There needs to be right and wrong, no matter who you are. C'mon piggies, I thought you were better than that! Guess not...

Gee, here's a thought...DON'T BREAK THE LAW THEN YOU WON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM! Maybe spend some time finishing the 3rd grade since obviously that is the level of education you publicly display with your written rants. How would you like to trade places with them. Looking after citizens who just can't seem to stay the course and keep on the right side of the rules that most of us can. Believe it or not, they are there to serve and protect. That's just what they do. Serve and protect society outside the women's jail from those that are INSIDE the women's jail. By the way, my own daughter was a guest of the women's jail a few years back. She was right where she needed to be. She messed up. She got caught. It was HER fault, not theirs. My weekly visits were not pleasant, nor was the staff. Why should they be. They didn't know me, for all they knew I was as troubled as she was. They are not there to make friends they are there to do a job! With attitudes like both of you have, it's only a matter of time before you get to be dis-honored guests of San Mateo County too. Learn some respect. Teach it to your children. Teach it to your elders. Maybe then the rest of us OUTSIDE the walls have some hope. Until then, I say, keep up the great work Women's Correctional Facility Staff. Thank you for what you do!
