Obituary: Warner "Andy" Anderson of Redwood City, Proud Representative of Trade Union

Originally from San Francisco, Warner was a resident of Redwood City for 56 years. A private memorial will be held in October.

Warner E. "Andy"  Anderson
, a 56 year resident of Redwood City, passed away on Saturday, September 21st in Patterson, CA after a long illness.

Warner was born on July 24, 1935 in San Francisco to John, a Swedish immigrant and Ethel. He moved to Redwood City in 1954, married his first wife, Gloria, and had three children - Wayne, Eileen and Rhonda before eventually divorcing.  In 1973 he married Sherri, his devoted wife of 40 years, and welcomed son David in 1979.

He began his career as a painter in the 50's and took great pride in representing union members for many years as a business agent in the Painters & Tapers Union Local 1146 where he was known as Andy.

In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by sister Barbara Landfried of San Carlos,  three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family is planning a private memorial service in October to celebrate his life.
