Redwood City Wants Students to Hoof It

District, county and Redwood City health group encouraging participation in International Walk to School Day.

A coalition of local groups want Redwood City students to join the rest of the world hoofing it to class next week.

Students enrolled in the Redwood City School District's seven schools are encouraged to participate in International Walk to School Day on Oct. 3.

The district, along with the San Mateo County Office of Education and Redwood City 2020, a local group counseling families on the availability of health services for children, are promoting the event.
