ABB Brings the Fantasy, Beauty and Local Talent to its "Nutcracker" (Video & Photos)

With a cast comprised of young local dancers, Academy of American Ballet's production of the "Nutcracker" is family friendly and the perfect way to begin the holiday season.

Academy of American Ballet's entrancing production of Nutcracker, set here right here in the heart of Redwood City, features a cast of local young dancers as well as veteran artists and parents who give the holiday classic a special, familiar feel.

The production, considered the Bay Area's most family-friendly "Nutcracker" opens Friday Dec. 6 at 7:00 p.m., with a matinee performance on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2:00 p.m.

To experience the beauty, magic and special touches added to the "Nutcracker" performances by artistic director Julia Ball-Dugan, order your tickets at www.balletamerica.org, or by calling the Fox Theater Box Office at 650-369-7770.
