Samaritan House to Distribute Food, Toys to Low-Income Families

During the entire month of December, Samaritan House will be distributing food, toys, and coats to thousands of low-income individuals and families for the holiday season.

The two Saturdays preceding Christmas, food and toys will be distributed to families in need at the following locations:

Saturday, Dec. 14:

Toy Distribution; 4031 Pacific Blvd, San Mateo; 8:30 am – 2:30 pm

Food Distribution; 1685 Eisenhower Street, San Mateo; 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Saturday, Dec. 21:   

Toy Distribution; 4031 Pacific Blvd, San Mateo; 8:30 am – 2:30 pm

Food Distribution; 715 Indian Ave, San Mateo; 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Each food distribution is scheduled to have around 500 clients and each toy distribution will have around 80 families throughout the day.

The Samaritan House Holiday Program provides assistance to families, individuals, and seniors who struggle during the difficult winter months and only have limited resources for food and additional holiday needs.

Throughout the holiday season, more than 1,500 volunteers, along with donors from the community, help Samaritan House provide assistance to those in need. 

Every dollar Samaritan House spends on its holiday program provides $15 worth of goods and service to help ensure that everyone has a happy holiday season.
