RWC Library Kicks off Winter Reading Club

Winter's the perfect time to cozy up with a good book---and during December, kids will win prizes for keeping track of the books they read.

The Redwood City Library will reward kids this month for reading books and simply keeping track of what they've read.

Readers up to the age of 12 years are invited who read five books during the month of December will receive from the library. Starting December 1st, readers can come in to any Redwood City Public Library to get their reading record. They will just write down the title of each book they've read, have a parent or librarian sign that she/he did the reading, and turn in the reading record before January 3rd.

Participants who finish reading five books will receive a free kid's meal from Old Spaghetti Factory; a free book (courtesy of the Friends of the Library); and a VIP pass to the "Readers Only" party which will be held January 3 at the Downtown Library from 2:00 to 4:00.

If your reader needs suggestions for fun reading over the winter vacation, come in to any of Redwood City's 5-star libraries and ask for suggestions!
