Little Leaguers Clinch Title
The 11-year-old all-stars were undefeated in the District 52 tournament for the second year in a row.

Belmont Redwood Shores Little League (BRSLL) Clinched the 2012 11-year-old all-star District 52 title on Tuesday night, going undefeated the entire series and advancing to the Sectional 3 Little League All-Star tournament.

This BRSLL all-star dream team under manager Rudy Lopez and all-star coaches Peter Anderson and Kevin Lee made history by winning the District 52 title for the second year in a row.
BRSLL won the championship game giving up no runs to rival team Hillsborough on Tuesday night, ending the game 3-0. All-star pitcher Sean Lee was on fire on the mound with a great defensive team behind him, giving up only one hit the entire game.
In the bottom of the first inning, Ryan Anderson slugged the ball to right field for a single, Dominic Susa slammed a double, and Brad Shimabuku scored a single. the excitement grew as Brad set up a successful and intentional run-down to drive in Susa for a run batter in(RBI) and keeping Brad safe at first. Lee smacked a double, ending the first inning 1-0.
The second flew by with three up and three down for both teams. In the bottom of the third, Nicolas Lopez crushed the ball into center field for a single, Susa scored a single and Evan jones relieved Susa as a pinch runner with Shimabuku hitting Jones home ending the inning 2-0.
Shimabuku and Lopez showcased their all-star talent kicking off the fourth inning with a double play at first and second base, teammate Anderson quickly making the third out. In the bottom of the fourth, Lee hit a single with pinch runner Zach Wong put in, followed by Luke Bugbee laying down a solid bunt to advance the runner. Josh Fong stepped up to the plate crushing a double for an RBI, ending the inning 3-0.
The fifth inning was uneventful with three up and three down on both sides followed by a short top of the sixth inning with Wong catching a fly ball in right field to shut down the game and clinching the championship for BRSLL.
BRSLL advance to the Sectional 3 tournament With their first game coming up on Saturday.
