CityTrees, in partnership with The Davey Tree Expert Company and Encore Performance Catering, presents a Tree Walk in Redwood City this Saturday, March 9.
The arborist-led tree walk will begin with check-in at 8:30 a.m. Refreshments will be available.
In this "fun and educational experience," the City says the group will be led on a walk that starts and ends at Wellesley Crescent Park, located near the intersection of El Camino Real and Edgewood Road near Stacks Restaurant.
The one-and-a-half mile walk will highlight some of the area's interesting and important tree specimens. One of Davey's certified arborists will be on hand to answer any questions ranging from identification and historical context to tree selection and care.
Donations are suggested in the amount $10.00 per person.
The Tree Walk is limited to 30 people, so those interested are encouraged to reserve your spot by signing up here.
