Fundraiser Planned For Survivors of Woodside Road Fire in Redwood City

Local businesses are planning an event with music, food, and family-friendly activities.

Business owners on Woodside Road are planning a fundraiser in Redwood City on Sunday to help the survivors of a fire at the Hallmark House Apartments rebuild their lives.

The event will feature two live bands, steak sandwiches, beverages, facepainting and henna tattoos. The funds collected during the purchase of these items will be donated to the almost 100 people who lost their homes on the morning of July 7, when a six-alarm fire ravaged their apartment complex.

The event starts at 3 and ends at 8 p.m. on Sunday July 28, 2013 at 593 Woodside Road.
