Sofitel San Francisco Bay Hosts Bastille Gastronomy Weekend
Palate-Pleasing Celebration of French Holiday
Sofitel San Francisco Bay is celebrating
Bastille Day with a festive feast during Bastille Gastronomy Weekend, Friday,
July 11 through Monday, July 14 at its restaurant, Bay 223. Keeping with
tradition of celebrating French National Day, or La Fête Nationale, on July 14,
guests are welcomed to commemorate a symbolic point in the History of France, the
Storming of Bastille, while savoring traditional French cuisine sure to satisfy
an array of palates.
Begin the meal with Creole Duck Salad or Wild Salmon Terrine and for the main
course, choose from three options: Spiced
Fillet of Beef, Marinated Sea Bass or a Vegetarian Truffle Goat Cheese Soufflé. And of course, no meal would be complete
without dessert! Choose between an ensemble of Marinated Banana Beignets, Cognac-infused Strawberries, Chocolate Mousse
and Vanilla Bourbon Ice Cream or
Tri-Colored Berry Meringue.
