Showcased will be recently acquired horse-drawn farm equipment from Runnymede Farm in Woodside. The pieces have been meticulously restored by architect Adolph Rosekrans and donated to the Museum. Featured will be two types of Knapp Side-Hill Plows, which were developed and produced in Half Moon Bay. The Knapp Plow was specifically designed to allow West Coast farmers the ability to cultivate fertile hillsides. Also on display will be lithographs of farms on the Peninsula from 1878 created by Grafton Tyler Brown, an early African-American California artist.
