Crafts from Many Cultures Children's Program

Youngsters will be invited to make crafts from
around the world.  Activities will
include making a Chinese dragon kite, creating an Irish wreath, stringing a
Polynesian lei and designing an Italian mask. 
Visitors will be encouraged to explore the Museum’s exhibit gallery, Land of Opportunity: The Immigrant
Experience in San Mateo County
, which describes the story of the diverse
people who have come to the Peninsula. 

The
children’s program is free with the price of admission ($5 for adults, $3 for
seniors and students, free for kids 5 and under).  For more information go to
