CityTrees Summer Tree Walk

Summer Tree Walk at Stulsaft Park
Saturday August 24th 10am – 1:00pm 

City Trees will be hosting a Tree Walk, Pruning Demonstration and Summer Picnic at Stulsaft Park.

The Tree Walk will be led by arborist, Jess Running from Davey Trees and will cover trees both in the park and on nearby neighborhood streets.  Come learn about this beautiful 42 acre park in Redwood City; the native trees, history of the park and the headwaters of Redwood Creek. Davey Trees will be doing a tree pruning demonstration of a large valley oak and providing information regarding sudden oak death disease management. The event finishes with a catered picnic by Encore Performance Catering.

The Walk will start at the Recreation Way entrance to Stulsaft Park at the corner of Goodwin Ave and Mitchell Way. Only 30 spaces available for this event.

Event fee: $20.00 per person
