Community Corner

April Free First Friday

Not
only is admission free the entire day (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), but two programs are
planned for the public without any fees.
At 11:00 a.m., preschool children will be invited to learn about farms.  They will create toy cotton ball sheep to
take home.  Then Museum staff will
conduct a special program in its Nature’s
Bounty
exhibit gallery, which tells about the natural resources on the Peninsula
and how they were used by its early inhabitants.  Here the youngsters will hear the story, Farmer Brown Shears his Sheep.  At 2 p.m., museum docents will lead tours of the Museum for adults.

The
“Free First Fridays” program is sponsored by the Redwood City Civic Cultural
Commission.  For more information contact
