3rd Annual OktobeRun Half Marathon, 5K, and 5K Color Run

On October 12, 2013, Redwood City will host the 3rd Annual OktobeRun Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk.

The half marathon course is flat, scenic, and largely off-road, perfect for a personal record. Beginning at historic Courthouse Square in downtown Redwood City, runners join the Bay Trail by Bair Island in the San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge, continue to a gravel and dirt trail next to Steinberger Slough in Redwood Shores, and return. The 5K course follows the first part of the longer course and is mostly on city streets.

New this year will be the 5Kolor Run. The 5K course converts to the most colorful explosion of fun you've ever had. Every 1K of the course will be a different color zone, blasting you with a bright color of non-toxic colored cornstarch. By the finish line, you'll be covered in 5 colors making you look like a human kaleidoscope.
