Reminder: RWC Council Candidates' Forum to Be Held Sunday

A candidate forum on Sept. 29 will give RWC city council candidates and community members an opportunity for lively discussion.

Updated Sept. 27 as a reminder: Local businessmen and community activists, Jason Seifer and Brian Ayer, will host an informal forum on Sunday, Sept. 29, to introduce the six Redwood City Council candidates to the community. The forum will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at 2210 Brewster Avenue.

City council elections will be held Nov. 5, 2013. There are six candidates vying for three seats.

Organizers say the event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with an hour of socializing with the candidates and other community members over light refreshments. The candidates will then each give a five-minute introduction, and remaining time will be used for follow-up discussion.
