Clint the Multi-Toed Cat Needs a Home!

Pets In Need is the first no kill animal rescue shelter serving Northern California

Clint is a LOVER not a fighter!  He had a rough start to life--out on the mean streets--but he deserves so much better!   This gorgeous 1-year-old polydactyl kitty (he could give the Hemingway cats a run for their money!) is such a love bug once he gets to know you. He still has some battle scars, but we think this handsome fellow is a great find for that special someone.

Fun fact: Ernest Hemingway had a penchant for polydactyl cats like Clint, or kitties with more than the usual number of toes on one or more of their paws. When he died in 1961, his Key West, Florida, home became a museum and home for cats. About 50 descendants of his own polydactyl cat live in the house. Today, the term "Hemingway cat" or simply "Hemingway" is a slang term for a polydactyl cat.

Pets In Need, a No Kill animal shelter serving the Greater Bay Area and  Silicon Valley, is located at  871 Fifth Ave., Redwood City .
