The Bay Area News Group has announced its list of the Top Workplaces in 2013 and three Redwood City businesses made the list.
In all, awards were given to 95 employers from Santa Rosa down to Carmel.
The awards are given out based only on employee feedback. Workers across the Bay Area filled out surveys conducted by Workplace Dynamics, resulting in 95 businesses across the region receiving accolades.
Redwood City's top workplaces, per employee survey data, are Pet Food Express, DaVita Redwood City Dialysis and Any Mountain.
Pet Food Express, one of the most prolific independent pet food chains in the country, has made the list every year since 2010 and won its first employee relations award in 1996. There are 47 Pet Food Express locations in Northern California.
DaVita is a leading kidney care center with locations in 43 states.
Any Mountain is an outdoor sporting goods store located all over the Bay Area, including in Redwood City.
