Hotel Tax Passes By Overwhelming Margin

Final results are in with all precincts reporting.

More than 70% of voters approved imposing a transient occupancy tax in Redwood City, according to final election results from the San Mateo County Elections Office.

According to final figures on election night, nearly 73% of voters supported imposing the tax while only roughly 27% opposed it.
