Video: Diners Taste the First Meals at the Old Spaghetti Factory

People were lining up outside the door promptly at 5 p.m. Monday.

From a 7-year-old to dog-walking twins, everyone found something to enjoy at the .

Residents from Redwood City to Walla Walla, Washington, came to downtown Redwood City to have some good old comfort Italian food.

The Manager’s Special with half and half Mizithra cheese and the meat sauce was a common favorite, and the garlic cheese bread as an appetizer was another frequently ordered dish.

The grand opening also included a mixer with the , a membership that co-owner George Dariotis said was crucial to joining the community and bringing more foot traffic for all businesses to enjoy.

He knows so much about this area having been at Pete's for 20 years and knowing so much about the area the tides and the nature and land around here.
