This Thursday, Tuck in the Kids, and Hit the Shops in RWC

Several retailers will be open till 8:00 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 19 in downtown Redwood City.

The Downtown Redwood City Retail Task Force has organized a late night holiday shopping event for this Thursday, Dec. 19 at selected retailers downtown 

To entice shoppers downtown for late night Thursday shopping, many stores will be offering special promotions for this late night shopping event.  

Participating stores include: 

Shops on Upper Broadway 
  • Pickled - women's wear 
  • Gourmet Haus Staudt - European candies & gifts  
  • Active Aggie - women's active wear  
Shops on Lower Broadway 
  • Cynthia L's Boutique - women's wear
  • Brick Monkey - home furnishings, accessories, jewelry & gifts
  • Mayers Jewelers - AGS registered store 
  • Stuff on the Square - crafts & accessories 
  • Trendy Fashions - unique women's fashions and accessories 
  • Captain's - skate gear and clothing boutique 
  • Young's Ice Cream & Candy Bar - novelties, children's toys and gifts 
  • Broadway Tobacconists - cigar & cigar products 
Shops on Theater Way  
  • Brick Monkey Squared - a lifestyle store with gifts for all ages 
Shops on Main Street
  • Ralph's Vacuum & Sewing Center - Miele, Simplicity & Elna products

My kids go to bed at 8pm, if the stores were open til 9 like Target and the rest, they'd probably get more business...So 8pm isn't really that late...when are we going to get some stores downtown like Reading Bug or Play Lost Altos or BUMBLE Los Altos. There are so many families in RWC and we have to shop everywhere else for kids stuff and play areas for birthdays...

Also that would be Los not Lost Altos haha...and it would be good to know what specials they stores are having?
