Shoppers line up -- some through Thanksgiving -- to take advantage of deep discounts.
Hundreds of shoppers waited in the cold to get special deals on merchandise. The line outside Target in Redwood City Thursday wrapped around the building. Shoppers were admitted in small groups as not to overcrowd the store.
Police and security were on standby to ensure public safety during the shopping spree.
