Great Wall Shuts Down

670 El Camino Real storefront currently occupied by furniture store.

A longtime Redwood City Chinese restaurant has served up its last handmade won ton.

, which has been in business by most estimates over a quarter of a century, closed down earlier this summer.

The 670 El Camino Real storefront is currently occupied by  Brothers Furniture Warehouse.

The Great Wall's owner, who's run the place since it opened, closed because the owner decided to retire from the restaurant business, an employee at the furniture shop said.

The Great Wall has 23 mostly positive Yelp reviews.
