California Latinos Take Back Breakfast

Every September, the Network for a Healthy California (Network) observes Latino HealthAwareness Month to encourage Latino families to live healthier, more active lives. Thisyear, the Network is focusing on the first and most important meal of the day: breakfast. One of the best ways parents can help their kids get healthy is by being good rolemodels at the breakfast table. Kids who regularly eat breakfast with their families aremore likely to eat fruits and vegetables. In Redwood City, the Latino community willcome together and discover healthy twists on traditional foods, share tips and resources, and join the movement for healthy change.
