Voters in Redwood City approved imposing a business license tax, according to results from the San Mateo County Elections Office.
The tax is supported by 55% of voters, and opposed by 45%, as of final results posted at 11 p.m.
Early reports indicated that only appromixately 300 more voters supported the tax than those who opposed it. That figure has nearly doubled as more precincts reported vote tallies.
