Community Art Show Reception and Awards Presentation

Celebrate extraordinary talent, purchase works of art, enjoy refreshments and watch as ten local artists are honored with awards. Arrive early to nominate your favorite piece for the "Community Choice Award"! Ballot box closes at 2:30 pm.

The PJCC Community Art Show is on display from October 12- December 18, 2012 and features PHOTOGRAPHY | MIXED MEDIA | 3-DIMENSIONAL Art.

"Inspired by the PJCC’s guiding principle of “Welcoming All” the Peninsula Jewish Community Center is excited to present our second Juried Community Art Show.  Typically, the PJCC gallery features 20-25 works in a single show.  This summer, with the use of additional space, we are proud (and to some degree astonished) to preset 104 pieces, comprising three categories and representing 71 artists, all of whom reside and create within 60-miles of Foster City.

It is our hope that along with adorning our walls, the exhibits will serve to stimulate personal thought and lively conversations among our members and guests."

Guests and members are invited to view the exhibit in the following locations:

Mixed Media: PJCC Lobby and along the Koret Learning Center

********Photography: Conference Rm A and the Board Room

3-Dimensional Works: Lobby display cabinets
