We are going into the homestretch, y'all.  And after a full season of ART on the Square,  Oktoberfest and a bunch of other shows, I am gearing up for this one last show for the season.  And it will be amazing!  Of course,  you are all invited to the Honeybear Lair for the weekend festivities!  Details are:

Join photographer Beth Mostovoy, clothing designer Darcy Fowkes, and glass artist Gigi Erickson this weekend for the annual Honeybear Prints Holiday Open Studio and Sale in Redwood City. 

Do stop by for a glass of Holiday cheer and delicious snacks, and stay to meet the artists and see their fabulous creations.

Gigi Erickson - Erickson Arts
Gigi Erickson has been a professional glass artist since 1977. She started in stained glass but has enjoyed glass blowing for over 20 years now. She also works in fused glass and makes wall art and dichroic glass jewelry. Her blown glass can be found in homes around the world. She makes fabulous large glass fruits and veggies, ornaments, snowmen, glass gift boxes, unique bowls made with a wood base and much more. Come to the open house to see the unique possibilities for gift ideas. 

Darcy Fowkes
 D'Arcy Couture is dedicated to custom designed clothing with an emphasis on upcycling and re-purposing existing clothing. Darcy is fond of designing from materials that may otherwise be considered waste. Her belts are made from fabric and leather samples that are discarded seasonally. Her purses have been created from worn out leather jackets, or left over linen from a redesigned table cloth, or downsized from a worn out purse. Dresses, skirts, and pants have been created from discarded t-shirts. In addition, Darcy will take an unloved jacket and ensemble an entire outfit around it, creating a new look to give the old jacket a brand new status in your wardrobe! Consider your own closet as a goldmine for new ideas. Re-purpose once loved clothing into new artistic ensembles!

Beth Mostovoy
Photographer Beth Mostovoy, a.k.a. Honeybear Prints, travels the world in search of images that “reveal the extra-ordinary in the ordinary moments that color our lives.” Beth’s photography showcases imagery from her travels locally, and out in the world. Her “Doorway Collection” explores the universal fascination with doorways from diverse locations such as Italy, France, China, Greece, New Orleans, New Mexico, and Mexico, exhibited as a series of nine. A great selection of Bay Area destination imagery, including Napa Valley, Monterey, Filoli, Big Sur, Carmel, Montalvo and Half Moon Bay is also available. Other noteworthy subjects include Classic Cars & Americana, Beach Scenes, Lighthouses, Musical Instruments (including Guitars and Accordions),Fall Foliage, Flowers & Wildlife (including cats, dogs birds, more!), telling a story in pictures.

And did I mention that I WILL be serving my world famous Brownies, YUM!
