ARTSRWC: Double Down on ART this week!

Artist Reception AND a Garden Soiree...read all about it..and GO TO BOTH!

YO Redwood City!

I hope you made it to the two events I covered last week...they both were fabulous! And the future for ART in RWC is mighty bright these days!!

So, are you ready for 2 more events you should go to this week?  And in the interests of full disclosure and shameless self promotion, I will tell you right up front that I am involved in both.  So, yes, my feelings will be hurt if you don't come out to these events and say "yo" to me!

First up:  Artists' reception at Little House
Wednesday, September 25
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
800 Middle Avenue, Menlo Park, CA 94025
(650) 326-2025 ext. 222

Please stop by for a special reception to meet the artists and guest artists, enjoy wine and refreshments, and view the art in their gallery spaces. Tour the painting, ceramics, lapidary, and wood shop creative areas!

Ok, so Little House is in Menlo Park...but if you have never been there, you are missing a community gem...for the arts, for classes, for creating, for seniors...

I will have one or two pieces exhibited during this reception...still trying to decide what to bring from my great selection of images! Come on by....

Second up:  You are invited to Sunday afternoon Soiree!

I have been invited to show my art this Sunday, September 29th from 2-5PM in a lovely garden setting in Redwood City.  I will be exhibiting with Juliet Mevi, who paints in oil and acrylics.

Several years ago, my friend Betsey generously offered to host me for a day in her garden.  It was memorable to say the least.  When she asked me if I wanted to do a garden show with Juliet, I gladly agreed.  She is the most fabulous host and there is something magical about perusing ART in a garden setting.

So when that football games goes on, you jump in the car and escape to our garden ART Soiree.  We call that a WIN-WIN!

Here are the details:
Sunday afternoon Soiree
featuring ART by Juliet Mevi & Beth Mostovoy
Sunday, September 29th
2 - 5 PM
2902 Hopkins Ave., Redwood City (close to Alameda de las Pulgas)
Yummy Refreshments will be served!

See you there!

So there is your two-fer for the week.  Next time, you may be UNLEASHED...hmmm.  Tune in y'all!

And remember to Always Follow your H'art!
